I am alive.

Surgery went well, no complications. Felt like I was hit by a truck but thank goodness for Vicodin. Feeling halfway human today. I should be home on Tuesday and will share all the gory details, including the cosmic joke of my gaining 4 lbs. in 24 hours post-surgery. Ha ha, the uuniverse is a funny funny place.
